What do you need to know about compounded products?
Unlike products with a Drug Identification Number (DIN), compounded products can only be sold if BVR Veterinary Supplies Ltd. obtains an order from a licensed veterinarian.
The veterinarian writing the order is responsible for prescribing the compounded product in accordance with provincial association regulations. BVR Veterinary Supplies Ltd. provides suggested wording on each label.
We deeply value the commitments and investments of animal health organizations that have successfully undergone regulatory procedures to gain approval for their products.
Orders for products with a Drug Identification Number (DIN) available through standard channels will not be processed by BVR Veterinary Supplies Ltd.
BVR Veterinary Supplies Ltd. refrains from supplying compounded products to producers, retail stores, or individuals without a valid veterinarian license.
